When the volunteers arrive to Paris to attend a
international work camp they come to a stranger country from them. So, we may
ask what do they know about his country? Or we should better ask: what should they
know? What can they do here? What do they have to prepare before coming here? …The
idea was to create this guidebook in order to help the international volunteers
to adapt to their new life because; obviously everything is out of their rule
in France.
This is my personal idea because I was in the same
situation when I arrived to Paris last October. In the beginning I had many difficulties
to adapt to my new life. So I want to share with you useful information about
Paris, which may help you discover Paris easier.
I also consider that before coming to our work camps,
the volunteers must receive information about the work camps, such as budget,
how to get, what they need to prepare. Through this guidebook we will like to
give a warmly welcome to our volunteers.
